1st Stage PRESENTS Almost, Maine

Almost, Maine
February 3 - February 26, 2012
By John Cariani, Directed by Michael Chamberlin
Northern lights play with the affairs of mortals in the small snowy town of Almost, Maine, where hearts are made of slate and love comes in bags. The residents fall in and out of love, wounding and healing with often unexpected and comic results. For anyone who's ever loved, lost or had a crush, these nine tales are a breath of whimsical warmth for winter hearts.

FIST IN THE POCKET THEATERMichael Chamberlin
is the artistic director of FIST IN THE POCKET THEATER, a bold new company which develops and produces plays that shine a light on the foibles of its misfit characters utilizing a mixture of the traditional and the bizarre. We explore these entertaining misfits through the intimacy of performance and arresting design to create theater that is fierce, funny, visceral and immediate.

We are please to have presented Jason Stuart's Washing Machine and TJ Edwards' adaptation of Candide as our first two productions.

Stay tuned to this site and Fist in the Pocket for info on all upcoming productions!
